Se MISSION OF THE GROUP: ‘The mission of the Safety Advisory
Group in the Pacific Proving Ground is divided into six basic
funetionss®
1.
‘To advise ond assist the Commmder, Task Group 7el,
and Task Units on matters of safety of personnel and
operationse
2.
To review the progress of design, supply, and operating
procedures to insure that a high standard of safety
is being incorporated in the planning stage of the
operation by all units under the command of Task Group
Tele
To revisw continuously expsrimental work in the Forward
Area to insure conformance with high safety standards.
fo maintain liaison with Task Unit 7 (Radiological
Safety) on mitual problems.
Se To maintain liaison with responsible Task Group 7.5
(Atomie Energy Commission) safety and fire protection
groups.
6 ‘fo insure that proper accident reports are filed in
conformance with the requirements of the Atomic Energy
Commission, the respective employer and responsible
compensation agencye
