REMARKS:
The individual island dose rates were computed from the Dil day
aerial-survey readings of the Radiological Safety organivetion.
The
various readings were corrected to H+] hour,using the t-t** re-
lationship, and extrapolated to 3 ft above the surface, using the air-toground conversion factors determined later for the REDWING Flathead shot

The Fox, George, Nan, Oboe, Uncle and William readings were taken
at ground level.
All other readings were obtained by aerial survey.
The off-site fallout pattern was documented for the first time by a
combined water-surface reading, aerial survey, and water-sampling operation.
The dose-rate readings were extrapolated to H+l hour by using actual
decay rates.
