I felt pleased to read your letter and to know that
you enjoy the scenery in Montana. I suppose you did have

but I am sure that by now you have gotten to the point
where everything is under control.

I have signed the contract as Dr. Harvey wrote it to
me, and everything i in order. We plen to arrive on July
31.
Vick Bond called me. You may know that I am on @
comiulttae of the National Bureau of Standards for RBE, end
they will have a meeting sometime in August or Septenbder.
I suggested that instead of me perhaps you would be willing
to attend this meeting. If will also give you a chance to
spend a few days at Brookhaven. Vic Bond accepted this, but
it will eatill depend on John Lawrence approving the travel
fumds. Would you please let us know if you are wil)ing to
go and write directly to Bond regarding the date?
