OLESS * fee Joplos jf e Dear Bob: / Just received your note of August 17 with newspaper ¢lippings. I very mich appreciate your sending such items to me and hope it wont be tco mich of a burden for you to contime. Dr. Kempo Tsukamoto, who is, as you know, the new Institute of Radiological Sciences Director, was {n my office yesterday. I told him about you. He had heard of you by report, and I hope you will meet each other soon. He has generally been quite helpful both to the Commission and the ABCC, and, of course, is a highly intelligent end isportantly pleced Japenese radiologist and clinician. I could learn nothinz from him about the recent death of the Japanese on the scientific ahip which supposedly had some fallout on it as he had not been back inthe country for over a month. His only comment was that one of his secretaries had died of leukemia too. Sincerely yours, BEST COPY AVAILABLE Charles L.
