D. This Agreement shall be subject to renewal for successive terms of five years subsequent to the initial term. The parties hereby agree to conduct a renewal conference at a mutually agreed time six to nine months prior to the expiration date of the initial term or any subsequent term, and at that conference to advise one another in writing of their intention with respect to either renewal or termination. In the event the Contractor advises the Government of its intent to terminate at the renewal conference or at any other time, Contractor hereby pledges to make its best effort to assist the Ministry and the Government with respect . to transition to either management by another contractor or assumption by the Ministry of direct management and control of the health services system. Except for provisions for termination for cause as set forth in Articlebelow, the agreement shall not be subject to termination except at the expiration of the terms provided hereunder.
