Note by the Secretary
1, At Meeting 1200 on May 17, 1956, during discussion of
the LACROSSE shot film, the Commissioners requested a review of the film to consider the need to upgrade the classification of certain
parts of the filn,
2. The Director of Military Application has submitted the
follcwing note in response to the above request;
"This is to advise that Mr, Charles L, Marshall,
Director, Division of Classification, has reviewed
the film and has determined that, although the film
contains a high degree of sensitivity, it does not
contain sufficient information to warrant a classifica-
tion of Top Secret,"
