CTG 7.4, as Task Force SAR Commander,will: (1) Have SAR responsibilityfor all.JTF SEVEllair and surface units in the EPG Air ControlArea duringOpsrationHARDTACK. (2) Take necessarymeasuresto insure familiarityand compliance tith the provisionsof referencesa..,b., c,, and d. (3) Conductthe necessaryliaisonwith the area SAR Comnander and appropriateSAR coordinationcentersto insurenecessary exchangeof informationand effectiveintegrationof JTF S2VG forces into Sector SAR plans. (4J Coordinaterequestsfor SAR coveragereauiredin addition to TG 7.4 cap~bilitieswith CTG 7.~. S~ch requestswill normallybe made sufficientlyin advanceof proposedoprations to allow for the positioningof the additionaleqtipment required. During a SAR emergency,the most dir-t and expeditiousmeans of communication will be used, b.
