For purposes of simplification I will essume thet the event
which may beve given rise to the Land injury occurred during the removal
of filter semples from the units mounted on the drone planes which operetion
consisted of setting the top filter units on tle groune efter the hoist had
lowered it from the tov of the plane.
The secom meniprvletion was the
removal of the filter peper from the unit and the nlscing of the vaper in
a suitable lead conteiner.
The time consumed for eech operetion wes in the
range of fifteen seconds and the tote] musber of operations wes ten.
Medium weight green cotton gloves were use¢ et sl] times.
Two
feet long tongs were evaileble for our use in gresping the filter paper,
but the presence of a fairly strong wind meade the presping of the paper
somevlat precerious.
I chose not to use the tongs for this reeson,
