CAS7LE —Kf 70 Kaman Tempo INTER OFFICE MEMORANDUM P.O. Drawer QQ © 816 State Street Santa Barbara, California 93102 TO: File FROM: E.J. Martin 2 2, DATE: 24 September 1984 SUBJECT: COPIES: ‘ Mock OC4eTZ> Interview with Warren Fackenthall In February of 1980, Bob Miller of our Albuquerque office, and I met Warren Fackenthall, a retired Air Force officer at the officers' club at Kirtland AFB. The purpose of the discussion that followed was to elicit information that Fackenthall may have had that would have aided us in the writing of the Redwing series report then underway. Fackenthall had served in both Castle and Redwing primarily in commnications. He was able to give us nothing of rad safe interest for Redwing, but did mention the hurried servicing of Bikini based electronics following the Bravo shot of Castle. The “hurry” was provided by the fallout contamination. This was referenced in our Castle report and this memorandum is being written at this late date so that a cambte set of the references in hard copy can be assembled at the CIC.
