TO : Dr. Walter Claus, Chief, Biophysics Branch, FROM : Daniel E, Lynth, Coordinator of Special Projects, HE / Division of Biology and Medicine, Washington DATE: April 23, 195k { Health and Safety Laboratory, New York supjecT: FALLOUT DATA SYMBOL: HSsDEL 4102: I am enclosing a table of the gummed film fallout data, arranged by station number and sampling day. I have previously sent you a list of stations with their numbers. Tne sampling days are given as calendar dates and also as days after December 31, 1953, in two rows at the top of the table. The numbers in the body of the table are d/m/sq. ft. extrapolated to sampling day. By “sampling day" we mean the day, Greenwich time, when sampling began. The sampling period is 2) hours and starts at the sempling period. In the case of samples collected on the day of 12:30 P.M. Greenwich time. We have extrapolated to the middle of a burst this midpoint occurs about 8 hours after burst. Each "X" in the table represents a sample less active than approximately 800 d/m when counted. We are giving you Xts instead of numbers for these in order not to delay the information on the more active samples. A blank space in the table indicates missing data, filled in in a later report. The data are for fixed stations. under separate covere Some of it will be I em sending data on other stations - Enclosure: Table of Fallout Data RCE US DOE ARCHIVES 326 US ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION Collection DOM Files Box \Qy B-\ ye te upowre STATUS VERIFIED //A/CL Folder ¢ - - co. etary,
