BROOKHAVEN NATIONAL LABORATORY

MEMORANDUM
DATE: 10/2/75
TO:

R. A. Conard, M.D.

FROM:

R, B. Aronson, Acting Chairman

SUBJECT: SUNY Committee Appointment
1

The School of Basic Health Sciences has restructured its

standing Committee on Appointments, Promotions and Tenure, increasing

its membership to include one clinical campus representative. Each
of the four clinical campuses will provide, on a rotating basis, one
member, holding the rank of full Professor, to serve a one year term.
I would like to request that you represent the Clinical Campus at
Brookhaven for the coming year. I appreciate the fact that this is
just one more chore added to your normally busy schedule, but it is
very important that Brookhaven, with its ever increasing involvement
with the Health Sciences Center, take an active part in faculty
decisions.
Please sign and return the enclosed copy of this memo if
you accept this appointment.
