Friday, October 24, 1947 oonsidered the report fran
the Direotor of Military Applications, entitled
“Armed Forces Participation in Proof Testing Operations
of Atomio Weapons“.
{he Canmmission:
(a) Instruoted
the Director, Military Applications, and the Acting
General Counsel to revise the draft reply to the Joint
Chiefs of Staff in that paper in accordance with the sug~-
goetions made at the meetings (b) Approved dispatch of
the revised reply without further reference to the
Comission; and (6) Approved the dispatch of the letters
to the Secretary for National
