Subcontrect 1068
The effective term of Subcontract 108 expires January 31, 1958. We are in
the process of certain close out action inclufing personnel security,
property accountability and preparation of final reports.
It is suggested at this time that you initiate action to cbtain patent
close outs. Cooper Development indicated there may be some patentable
ideas on the launcher but they did not feel there were patentable ideas
developed as an cutgrovth of the rocket effort.
Cooper Developsent Corporation's fiscal year is March 1 through February 23.
Cooper will request the Navy Audit Office to commence Cooper's fiscal year
edit approximately April 15, 1959. On this basis, it will probably be
late in 1959 before final overhead rates can be ascertained to permit final
contract close out.
