assumed -a -definite -torus -ring -circulation, -with condensation .<'skist’.lowering.
-Note -steep slope of streamlines immediately .below “mushroom,
compared .to shollower slope .at ‘lower levels.

cumulus. in .base .of .mushioom indicates .extreme -turbulence.
Some
growth tn cumulus .to right .of stem has .begun, .and some -dissipation
of stratus deck .in foreground is. also apparent.
Top of cloud has
not yet reached the base of the stratosphere.
The mushroom is about twenty-five miles in diameter.
