This is to confirm for your records that at Meeting 1321 on December
Mr. Fields reviewed his proposed reply to Mr. Quarles! letter of
regarding acceleration of work on POLARIS, and the Commissioners
indicated they had no objéctitn’to this letter. Mr. Fields also reported that
necessary adjustments will be made in the HARDTACK schedule including provision
for testing. in connection with POLARIS, and said he would report to the Comais-
sioners on these adjustments after a review of the schedule,

is being prepared for consideration by the Commission,
