Fallout. Monitoring instrument began recording at 1430; was off acale at 1450. Visible fallout doted at 1500. Described fallout as ‘‘like sand with white particles the size
of cigarette ashes.’’ Closed windows and doors of weather station. Fallout material
visible on tables in mess hall and barracks at night.
