was furnished the Department of the Interior.
b. Letter f¥olfthe Deputy High Commissioner, 11 June 196h.
Paragraph 2 of reference a, as quoted below, is considered to be
the Department of Defense's present position regarding future requirements for the real estate as listed in the agreement of 1 July 1960:
"The Department of Defense desires to contime the agreement
for an indefinite period, There is no requirement for the temporary
buildings on these islands, and since they have detericrated to such
an extent that they ave @ hazard and are of no monetary value, they
are, by this action, transferred to the High Comuissioner of the Trust

to dispose of as he sees fit under the provisions of Title IV,
