for the purpose of analyzing and interpreting the samples that
are being sent to Japan.
This meeting could take place as soon
as the scientists of both vapan and the United States have com-
pleted their analyses.
To avoid any misunderstandings no data
obtained from analyses of samples by Japanese or American
scientists should be published in the open literature until
after this proposed meeting.
Such a mutually beneficial meeting
would be a continuation of the Radiobtology Conference held in
Tokyo in November 1954,
