Instrumentation of the B-52 for the
Giavato) Shot consisted
of 309 oscillograph channels which recorded measurements from strain-gage
bridges, accclerometers, roll ani pitch gyros, raiiometers,
control
position transiucers, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and calorimeters.
In adjition, 14 cameras recorded photorecorter instruments (14 ~
channels), wing and tail deflection, cloud coverage, and fireball rise
ani growth.
