of the cytogenetic program as outlined when employed as Chief
Technologist.

Employed as Chief Technologist, Cytogenetics Laboratory, Department of Neurology, Children's Hospital, Washington, D.C. I
Girected the operation of the clinical cytogenetic program including the supervision of three technicians and a research
medical student. Major responsibilities included the acquisition
of biopsies, clinical analysis of patient data, tissue culture
preparations, slide preparations, photomicroscopy, and cytogenetic analysis. Other responsibilities included the direction
of buccal smear studies, cytogenetic evaluation of amniotic
fluid, initiation of fibroblast tissue culture from necroscopic
samples, autoradiographic analyses, and dermatoglyphic studies.
Peripheral teaching responsibilities included lecturing to
nurses, medical students, and house staff, and graduate courses
in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, George Washington University Medical School, Washington, D.C.
