Dear Mr. Bonnet: Enclosed is a bill from the Trust Territory in regard to MATS travel for the three Marshallese patients and interpreter that came to Brookhaven last summer. According to our understanding, this bill falls into the category of those that are charged to your office. I presume by now Mr. Rasmussen has had an opportunity to contact the Trust Territory office in Saipan to make the necessary arrangements to cover such bills as this. I want to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the assistance that you gave us on the past survey. We are most grateful to you. I was certainly happy about having Mr. Rasmussen meet with us on Kwajalein in regard to fiscal arrangements. I am sure that this will make everything easier for all concerned. We are making plans to return five Marshallese patients and one interpreter from the Marshall Islands, probably in May. I will contact you later in more detail about these arrangements. Sincerely yours, RAC :bb Encl, oes / : , . ee Robert A. Conard, M.D. ™~
