REPORT OF DISPOSAL OF EPG SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY

The attached memorandum report of EPG disposals of personal property
through December 13, 1959, corrects and supplements the report
transmitted by our memorandum of December 18,1959. In the future,
we will keep you advised of any substantial changes in the EPG
disposal picture due to phase down.
You may be interested to note that, of the $1.4 million disposed
of or committed for shipment, $1.3 million or 88% represents
utilization within AEC or by other Federal agencies, including the
g2uj
Trust Territory of the Pacific. We have an indication of requirements
in the order of a quarter million dollars by American SAMOA and the
International Conperation Administraticn.
You may also wish to note that, for sales, the report indicates a
recovery of $100 thousand from property having an original acquisition
cost of $166 thousand with a GSA Fair Value of only $14 thousand.
