Reference statement regarding DOD’excesses contained in paragraph 3
of referenced letter. To negate misunderstanding concerning status
of these excesses, it is believed necessary to clarify the present
stock and supply situation at EPG

While DOD accomplished a “considerable excessing
program prior to transfer to AEC, there still
remains consideruble inventory and surplusing
work to be done by the AEC contractor on DOD
material and supplies. “Acceptance. of ‘the material
