The actuation of all sealing devices in the redesigned heads, as well as their
ability to maintain an internal vacuwm, will be tested at CDC during the week
of 10 November,
Drop tests, allowing the heads to impact in the water at 35
feet per second at various engles, will be conducted at Morris Dam Smal] Calibre
Range, Azusa, California, during the same week,
Flight tests are scheduled
for the week cf 17 November at NAMIC, Point Mugu, to evaluate the redesign under
actual conditions, provided that sealing is satisfactery in the pressure and drop
tests described ahove,
