The visit to the Pacific Proving Ground of unclesred observera from the
Federal Civil Defense Aduinistration and the U. 5. sews media will
present you vith certain problems of security control, This letter is
intended to outline the delegations of authority made to you in this
regard and to provide you with certain guidance that may be of aseistance.

avveed that tha responsibility for assuring that uncleered observers
receive no access to classified information must be, and is hereby,
delegated to you, The Department and the Comsission will make available
te you information service, classification, and security specialists to
provide such assistance as you require. ‘The nemes of individuals
concerned aul their field of interest will be commmicated to you at the
earliest possible time. Should you require acklitional assistantie, we
request that you call upon us as early ag possible.
