“Where more than three B I units are recommended, the extinguishing capacity
may be made up of a smaller number. of larger units, provided each recom-
mended location is protected with an extinguisher readily accessible; e.g.
three B II units may be used in lieu of 4, 5 or 6 of the smaller B I units.
**Extinguishers recommended for “engine compartment” should not be Located
inside such compartment but near an entrance to the compartment unless
someone is normally present in the compartment.
