housekeeping support for test participants based at, or staging through
Kirtland Air Force Base.

Manning the 950th Test Group (Nuclear)
When the 950th Test Group (Nuclear) was established, on 1 September
1956, a new manning concept was inaugurated to augment the Air Force
Special Weapons Center during nuclear testing.

Under this new concept,

personnel were assigned to the 952nd Support Squadron ( a 950th subordinate unit) at Kirtland Air Force Base and were sent to augment the

935th Air Base Squadron at Indian Springs Air Force Base on temporary
duty.

These personnel had "staggered" reporting dates at Indian Springs

to conform with the previously established tuild-up schedule.
