facility is being activoted at Bikini, but an additional site on the
continent would be very hard to get.
In the Executive Branch the test
program is being questioned more and more as a "w2ste of fissionatle
material",
Mr. Dean said that if the Committee felt strongly in fevor of
another continental test site he would welcome documentation for thc case.
The Division of Military Application has not made an urgent recormindzticn
on this subject.
The Nevada site is being used to within cbout 90% of
capacity.
