Sections XI and Ki-ae
These data are being prepared for the final report that
we hope to have ready by spring.
Section XI-b.
The fish that are being retained for spawning and
further study in this section were weighed and measured individually.
<A total of 442 fish remain.
Of this total, our
examination at the time of weighing and measuring indicated
that 382 fish would probably spawn this spring.
These potential
apammers were retained in the large pond where they ean be se-
gregated as they reach sexual neaturity.
The balance of the
fish, or 60, ware placed in a small run way, we believe that
these fish will not reach sexual maturity.
Included in the
group confined to the amall pond were nost of the small and
malformed fish produced by parcnt fish that had received
large amounts of irradiations with %-reyse
