On directive of Commander, effect air evacuation of
‘islands other than Enivetok ant Parry,
Use mximum effort to get all aircraft in incite
flying condition,
Install two long-range fuel tanks in cach 0-47 within
limits of time and capability, This will be accomplished
when only the aircraft are to be evacuated. During
personnel evacuation no long-range fuel tanks will be
installed,

Furnish Base Operations with o list of all aircraft
available for flying.

Place all imintenance personnel and crew chiefs on
thirty (30) minute alert.
General:
(1)
Each officer or NCO-in charge of a unit will maintain contact
with each person under his supervision during alert conditions,
(2)
Squadron Commnders will keep the Test Sunport Unit Persomel
Officer advised as to the number of versonnel available for
emergency details.
ADHINISTRATIVE AND LOGISTICAL MATTERS:

a. Normal administretive procedures, except erergency reports, will
be mde following disaster.
b, Normal logistic procecures, except cmergency action will be taken
to replace supplies vital to the mission,
ce, Upon notification of alert, the Adjutant, Test Support Unit will
draw from the Task Group 7.2 Commissary Officer one emergency ration for
each individwl in the Test Support Unit, and will draw from the Depot Supply
Officer sufficient witer cans tc contain ono gallon of water per mn, He
will fill and store the water cans and emergency rations in one of the
"Pacific" type buildings allotted for use by his unit (Refer to Appondix 3).
Emergency water and rations will not be issucd to individual until approval
is obtained-from Conmnder, Test Support Unit.
