ON EPG TRANSFER PRESS RELEASE
Early last week when the matter of possible news media questions on
the EPG release came up, General Starbird said he would prefer to hold
explanatory responses down to something like, "This transfer is being
made because the Pacific Missile Range has an immediate requirement
to use EPG now, and the AEC does not havean immediate requirement
for it.”
