40156. “ DEPARIMENT OF ENERGY AGREEMENT NO, EX-76-A-28-3159 (Formerly E(49-7)3159) MODIFICATION NO. 3 WITH THE TRUST TERRITORY OF THE PAGIFIC ISLANDS IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED that this Modification No. 3 to Agreement No. EX-76-A~28-3159 is being entered into between the U. 5. Department of Energy (formerly Energy Research and Development Administration) and the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands. WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend the period of performance and provide additional funding under the Agreement. NOW THEREFORE, the parties do mutually agree to amend the- Agreement as follows: Subsection one of Paragraph two is amended by deleting "September 30, 1977," and substituting "September 30, 1978," therefor.. ‘ Subsection two of Paragraph two is amended by deleting $65,000 from the last sentence and substituting $85,060 therefor. Except as hercin provided, all terms and conditions of the hasic Agreement remain in effect. U. S.
