The Comsiasion approved relocation of Orangs and Teak shots
to Johnston Island at seeting 1352 on 7 April, 1953.
The
Comalasion was informed of the (resident's approval of this
relocation at Meeting 1353 on 9 April, 1954.

It is considered that an early press release should ba made in
comection with the utilisation of Johmsaton Ieland by CJTf<7
aa a base from which he will fire these two shots.

The attached proposed announcement of the utilization of
Johnston Island in connestion with the Hardtack series has
been drafted and approved by the staffs of the Commission,
the Lepartuant of Defense and the Departmsnt of State.
Within the Comission it has the cencurrence of the Division
of Hilitary Application, the Division of Informtion Services
and the Uivision of Classification, It has been concurred
in by CITFa7.
