accepted; again, because of incomplete analyses by the

matter where in Japan. This offer was not accepted except
for one ship.
Any drugs used for treatment would be furnished. Dr.
l4iyoshi asked for over 100 grams of aureomycin. Within
18 hours this request was filled,
A recuest for antibiotic sensitivity discs was filled
in 24 hours.
Duplicate color transparencies requested by Dr. Shimizu
were sent to him within one week.

Geiger counters were requested by the lMinistry of \/elfare
for their use in monitoring tuna. Five instruments were
delivered im.ediately.
The use of scintillation counters for making internal
radiation measurements of the patients was offered but
not accepted.
