1. BOATS AND SHIPS:
a.
After conversations with Ed McCall (H&N Marine Operations) Major
Trimble (TG 7.4 OPNS) Capt Hemmer (1G 7. OPNS) LtCol Hedrick (CTBU)
and Lt Mack (OIC of the AVR) it has been determined that the Air
Force Crash Boat (AVR) is non-operational and cannot participate in
the WAHOO rehearsal scheduled for tomorrow, 9 May.

The AVR will be operational by Monday 12 May and special runs can be
arranged as mutually agreeable between TG 7.1 and TG 7.) on and after
that date.

The TG 7.4 coordinator is Lt Mack who will call us if anything will
delay the AVR becoming operational. (JHW)
Col Lucke stated that arrangements have been made for LCU #54, con- -
figured as an assembly houseboat, to go to Gene tomorrow to serve
meals in support of KOA. (EAL)

Arranged to have LCM #1(WAHOO Zero Site "M" boat) put in water and towed out to the USS GRASP (ARS-2)) when convenient this afternoon for
WAHOO rehearsal. (JHW)

Keith Young was queried on when he would like to put HOLLY on Station. He
said it would probably be after KOA. This will be closely watched by
Wendell.
