Discussion with Mr, Darol K, Froman
Mr, Dean asked Mr, Froman whether the Russians would be able
to estimate the approximate yield of the two shots at IVY and
also whether they would be able to determine that a device incorporating a thermonuclear reaction had been exploded.
Mr,
Froman replied that if they have detection devices similar to
ours, they can probably determine whether the shot incorporates a
thermonuclear reaction or not, but he doubted whetehe they can
estimate the veld,
