Each transceiver consists of a full set of crystals, 30 L-] amplifiers, antennas and associated accessories. One of the transceivers is a fixed station in the JOC (Building 20) and the other five are portable. A 35-ft. high whip type an- tenna was installed on the roof of the JOC. Electronic control equipment was also provided. Five portable antenna units consisting of a whip antenna, base insulator and remote tuning box were procured for use with the KWM-2A transceivers.
