Coast Guard Installations Baker-Nunn Camera (ADC) c. Future Expansion 235 kw 70 kw 95 kw Feeders in underground conduit are run to the Powerhouse, the Signal Building, the Transmitter Building and the Baker-Nunn Camera Station. A 450 kva substation is located in the Powerhouse and is equipped with switchgear to permit the cutoff of the Sand Island power demand in the event of a transmission failure in any leg of the submarine cable loop.
