LOS . \4 OS SCIENTIFIC LABORATORY UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA LOS ALAMOS, NEW MEXICO 87544 TELEPHONE: OFFICE MEMORANDUM TO * Weel Glass, J-16 FROM ; T. DATE: April 7, 1966 CeeA | by SUBJECT: SYMBOL: L. Shipman, M.D., H-DO TASK FORCE EH Whether you prefer congratulations or condolences on your new job is for you to decide, but I offer whichever you prefer. There are a number of areas in which various people in Health Division need to be keptinformed about matters relating to operations in the Pacific and not infrequently we have suffered by not being on the distribution list for various documents. In most cases I think this results from people not realizing that we do in truth have both interests and responsibilities. All I ask is that you don't forget us because we cannot very well help you if we don’t know what is going on. It would become plain that matters relating to operation and safety are primarily Roy Reider's concern while those of radiological safety are of interest to Leo Chelius in H-1. Other problems are clearly the concern of Orin Stopinski. In case of any doubt about distribution of a given document, I will be glad to see that it gets into the right hands if it is sent to my office. Please feel free to call on us for any reason whatsoever. T. L.
