There are only a couple of slight changes that will be necessary in the schedule as outlined in my letter of July 19 to HICOM. I hope that you can arrange with the Trust Territory for Neil Rasmussen's visit with me as follows: Wednesday September 21 Leave Honolulu on Pan American Flight #841 at 0130 for Guam, arriving at 0525 on September 22 (cross. dateline). Thursday September 22 Leave Guam 0800 on Pan American Flight #500, arriving Saipan 0855. Monday September 26 Leave Saipan 1000 on Pan American Flight #501, arriving Guam 1135. Tuesday September 27 Leave Guam TT on Pan American Flight #400A at Wednesday September 28 Leave Kwajalein at 0830, arriving Majuro 1010. Dr. Rall will join us for this leg of the flight. 0800, arriving Kwajalein 2030. We will probably request a DC-4 from Kwajalein to pick us up at Majuro on the 29th or 30th. The possible trip to Rongelap will have to be arranged. In any event, our return from Kwajalein to Honolulu appears to be October 4. It is requested that you write orders to include Dr. J. E. Rall of the National Institutes of Health and also the necessary papers for the Marshallese woman, for a visit to Honolulu and return from Kwajalein. Reservations are requested for Dr. Rall, Hickam to Kwajalein, MAC flight September 26 and for Rasmussen, Rall, and me for MAC flight from Kwajalein to Hickam on October 4. for Rall and me. Kwajalein.
