The nuclear weapon dropped: August 6, 1945, from aa U.S. ‘Army Alr Force 829 bomber and detonated over Hiroshima japan, hadaan energy. yield:
equivalent to that of 15,000 tons of TNT.” The one exploded in similar fashion August 9, 1945, over Nagasak Japan, hada Yield of a1.000 tons of TNT.
Both detonations were intended to end World WarI as quickly as possible.
