Ambulance service or facilities as well as adequate means of communication as determined by the supervising physician shall be provided. III-9 TESTS OF PRESSURE VESSELS - Any boilers or other pressure vessels furnishedby the Contractor under these specifications which will be operated at pressure of 15 pounds per square inch or greater shall be delivered bearing a certificate of shop inspection by a reputable testing agency. After installation and prior to acceptance by the Government such boilers and pressure vessels will be tested in a manner which is the standard practice for such tests. All boilers or pressure vessels which will be operated at pressures of 15 pounds per square inch or greater and will be used by the Contracter in his operations in the projJect area will be similarly tested, approved and certified before being brought on the project and shall be tested annually thereafter. ITI-10 TESTS OF INSTALLATIONS - All work on the Project involving utilities or other installations will be tested as required to assure conformance with the drawings and Specifications as approved by the Commission. Operating units shall be tested as required to assure proper opera- tion. Rough-in tests of utilities shall be performed before the installation is concealed in the walls, floors, or otherwise and before the service ts connected into the distribution or collection systems. All such preliminary tests shall be performed in the presence of a responsible representative of the Contractor as provided for in the Contract. Final tests of the installations will be made in connection with the inspection for acceptance of the construction and shall be performed in the presence of representatives of the Contracting Officer. The final tests will govern and deficiencies which may develop between the time of the rough-in test and the final test will be corrected prior to final acceptance.
