All pieces of equipment shall be mounted on their respective foundations or supports. Those which are mounted on concrete foundations shall be accurately leveled with suitable wedges or jacks, and shall be bedded in grout consisting of one part cement and two parts sand to a minimum thickness of 1/2 inch. The grout shall fill all pipes around foundation bolts. After the grout has thoroughly set, the wedges or jacks shall be removed and all foundation bolt nuts shall be tightened down before making any pipe connections to the eqiipment,. 20-5
