DRYING TIME:

A minimum of three (3) days drying

time between coats shall be sufficient to allow thorough

drying of the paint, and shall not be less than 24 hours.

All undercoats shall be tested with hard pressure of the
thumb to be sure they are dry.

PROTECTION AND CLEANING:
Oily rags or cotton waste
shall not be stored inside buildings or allowed to accumulate on the premises.
Upon completion of the work all
scaffolding and paint containers shall be removed from the
site or destroyed in a manner approved by the Engineer.

Paint spots, oil or stain upon adjacent surfaces shall be

removed and the work left clean and acceptable to the Engineer.
