(1) (2) In addition to the existing weather facilities in the Pacific Ocean Area, completely self~contained weather stations will be established on the outlying islands of KUSATE, RONGERIK, MAJURO and PONAFE. Mission: (a) _(b) Provide surface and upper air weather data necessary to meet the peculiar demands of the operation. Provide administrative and logistic support to the Weather Central, (3) Requirements: (a) Possess a capability to take 24 hourly surface obser- vations daily and four rawinsonde observations daily. The rawinsonde observations will attain a minimum height of ninety thousand (90,000) feet.
