Written instructions for the proper operation and maintenance of
utilities and operating equipment designed by the A-E-C-M, under Con-

tract No. AT~(29-1)-507, were provided in several different forms,

intent of this Appendix is to discuss in general those which apply to
normal operating and maintenance procedures and to present in detail
those which might be considered as peculiar to this particular operation,

Operating instruction manuals were provided by many manufacturers
of equipment.

These were furnished to the Jobsite.

Following is a
