CHAPTER 13 = PHS WEDICAL OFFICE: LIAISON NeTWORK
Introduction
13.1.
In secordance with the SOP-HTSO Chapter 0701, Plan for Radioe
biological Investigations, the Medical Officer Liaison Network was
operated during the Operation Hardtack ITI.

Purpose
13.2.
The purpose of the network was:
(1)
To assist the AEC in the promot investigation of reported
incidents and hugen conplain@s related to test activities;
(2)
To establish a relationship, or absence thereof, between
the individuals’ reported syuptoas and the test activities;
(3) To explain the situation to the physican in sttendance and
to the patient in umerstandable and acceptable teras;
(4) To allow » greater nusber of sedical and hoslt: personnel
to increase their knowledge and experience in radiological
health wtters.
