Neither the people of Utirik, nor this office were given any notice or reasons for cancellation of these visits. After the extreme hardships that these people have already incurred over the past 23 years, this kind of omission is astonishing. This office demands an ex- planation for the cancellation of the June and September surveys. The people of Utirik desperately need these medical surveys.
