"Captain Staley is to forward minutes of the meeting to Holmes & Narver, PARRY Island, as soon as possible for record purposes. A brief resume of the items discussed which affect Holmes & Narver are as follows: "For the purpose of over-all planning and an approximate determination of the length of time that the LST will be required, Captain Staley suggested that we assume that plans and funding would be approved by 1 November 1956. Onthis basis we discussed the time necessary for the several operations involved with the following general conclusions. '"(A) 50 days For LST movement (carrying materials) from ZI to PARRYIsland. 2l days - For prefabricationat PARRY Island and loading of LST. 90 days - For construction (possibility of being reduced to 60 days). l6l days - Total 25 days - Return of LST from PARRYIsland to ZI. 186 days OFFICIAL USE ONLY
