This may include sea areas as well as land areas,
Direct assistance rendered the Technical Director or his staff
by the Department cf National Defense will usually fall into one of two
classes,
Either a section of the Armed Services will effectively agree to carry
out a particuler mission under its own organization and direction, or a group
or number of individuals will be assigned to the Technical Director to assist
him in carrying out the technical work,
In the former case, called Case I,
the Technical Director's responsibility is to insure that sufficiently deteiled
